The Nintendo Wii has become very popular in the short time it's been out. It seems everyone either has one or wants one. And if you're one of the few who don't have one, you're looking for one to buy.
The Wii has outsold Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's XBox 360. It outsold the PS3 by a margin of 3-to-1 in Japan during July 2008.
Over 10 million units have been shipped to the United States alone.
It is flying off storeshelves. Stores almost immediately sell out when new stock of Wii come in.
One of the reasons the Wii is so popular, is its affordability. At around $250, it is cheaper than the XBox 360 and the $500 and $600 version of the PS3.
The Wii has quickly become the king of the gaming consoles and it shows no signs of giving up its thrown any time soon.
